How We Started
Several years ago, my husband and I were on a trip to Chisinau, Moldova to visit my husband's family. While there I was taken to visit a family friend's dog kennel. It was a breed I had never heard of before....the Central Asian Shepherd. I was immediately enamored with the breed and all of its strength, size, and protective instincts. Having been an assistant canine trainer for a police department 20+ years ago, a professional obedience trainer for many years, an owner/handler in AKC shows, and spent 8 years as a veterinary technician, I felt completely up to the challenge to raise such a special breed but it wasn't quite the right time.
Fast forward 7 years and I was finally ready to bring one of these beautiful creatures into our family. I found a breeder in Ukraine that I trusted and decided to import my first CAS (Central Asian Shepherd) puppy, Farhad. That pup grew to be everything I wanted and more in a dog. He is protective, affectionate, very aware of his surroundings and potential threats, and most importantly, a wonderful companion that I built a very special connection. That was the beginning of a breeding program where we are committed to keeping our imported lines with a strong and healthy mind and body. Also the mind and ability to work on the farm guarding our livestock and come in to snuggle up on the sofa with us. We are very proud of our dogs and are dedicated to keeping this breed the amazing breed that it is!

Our Mission
Our mission is to continuously make the Central Asian Shepherd breed even better by breeding responsibly and creating a legacy of sound mind, sound build, and sound health in our dogs. Also, by diligently placing our pups in the best and most suitable homes for them. We strive to continuously educate the public and to promote the breed with full transparency of all it's qualities and abilities as livestock guardians, personal and property protection dogs, service dogs, and simply as family pets.
