NON-BREEDING DOGS

We have such a following and people even know all of our dog's names. I have decided to add a page to the site as people want an update on who is not being bred and why.

At 704 we strive to only breed the highest quality dogs. Our dogs have to have correct conformation, correct temperament for the breed, passing hip/elbows scores, cleared health/genetic panal screening, and overall soundness to be bred. Sometimes, an injury or even a medical issue would still make them able to be bred but would put a strain on the dog. With that in mind, we will not breed that dog either. They are not just kennel dogs or breeding dogs, these are our family members and we want them as happy and healthy as possible. SO regardless of the situation, if it's not good for the breed or for the individual dog to breed them, we gladly will take the loss to insure the safety of the dog and the CAS breed as a whole, as well as the happiness of our dogs.

Below are some of these dogs that have not passed the standard and can't be bred but we would like to reccognize them as they are still amazing dogs

704 Dar Azii Yuvani

Weight: 130 lbs

Yuvani sadly suffered pretty bad knee damage while young. She passed all the possible testing with flying colors but with bad knees, she needs a very low weight to keep her knees from getting worse which is not possible with pregnancy. WIth that in mind, even though being able to be bred, it's not a good quality of life if the knees get damaged further from the weight of preganacy. She is now spayed and a frequesnt brewery ventuter and spokesdog for the breed.
