ALWAYS SEARCH THE BREEDER’S FULL NAME AND STATE THEY RESIDE IN WHEN DOING A GOOGLE SEARCH.

You may be surprised at the allegations, legal issues, petitions against them as a breeder, and records of animal cruelty or fraud that can be found with a simple search. Unfortunately, some breeders present themselves very differently than what their background reveals.

For several years, I have been the sole breeder in the U.S. working with these Ukrainian dogs, maintaining the hard work of our sister kennel’s multiple generations of the CAS Tobet type in Ukraine. My aim is to retain as much authentic Tobet lineage and phenotype as possible. This is challenging, as the FCI did not recognize Kazakh dogs until recently, and many Tobet dogs and lines from Kazakhstan that are now outside Kazakhstan were imported and registered through Russia and Belarus, which complicates tracing their true origins.

Unfortunately, a less reputable breeder has recently acquired a dog from these Ukranian lines without the original Ukrainian breeder’s approval. That dog was of “pet quality” and not intended for breeding. This individual has also misused photographs and information from both my kennel and my sister kennel in Ukraine, including creating fraudulent screenshots falsely claiming authorization to do so using identity theft. As a result, legal action has now been required. For this reason, I want to be very clear: I am not affiliated with any other American kennels at this time. I have chosen not to cross my lines with others yet, and I will not associate with breeders I do not consider reputable. The CAS Tobet type is rare and valuable, and I take my responsibility to protect it very seriously.
